International Women’s Day at Purebaby

Being proudly led by a female founder, Mirabai Winford, and with a team composed of 96% women, International Women's Day will always hold a special place in the heart of the Purebaby brand. It's a day that resonates deeply with our brand values of empowerment and inclusivity. This year, as we mark this important occasion, we reflect on the incredible journey of women all around the world and how we can help!

On Friday  8th March 2024, Purebaby will be again supporting the wonderful organisation, Dress for Success Australian Affiliates, by donating 5% of our full price sales in-store + online,

Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organisation that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Powered by volunteers, every year Dress for Success Australian Affiliates support more than 5,000 women into employment across the country. Dress for Success’ signature Styling Service and suite of Career Support offerings aim to help women overcome bias and discrimination when entering or re-entering the workforce - at no cost to the women needing the services.

Their Empower Hour campaign is an award-winning high impact, pay it forward campaign. Aiming to support more than 750 additional women into employment and to supercharge fundraising to support more women into work and bring awareness to the disparity issues facing women in Australia.

Last year, Purebaby was proud to support this campaign which from our donation resulted in the styling of 17 women for their interview or ‘Got the Job’ capsule wardrobe - setting them on the path for financial independence.

As a female founder-led brand, we understand the challenges and barriers that women face in employment. From gender bias to unequal opportunities, the road to success can be fraught with obstacles. In honor of International Women's Day, we're proud to amplify the voices of women from all walks of life – from our customers and employees to our partners and collaborators.
