In this policy, the words ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘Purebaby and ‘Site’ refer to purebaby.com.au, Purebaby Pty Ltd and all of its related entities. This Privacy Policy applies to and should be read in conjunction with any other Purebaby terms and conditions(collectively, the ‘Agreement’), which are available on purebaby.com.au. This privacy policy applies to all protected personal information collected, maintained, or used by Purebaby. Purebaby endeavours to comply at all times with all applicable laws and regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’).

Purebaby is entitled, at its sole discretion, to amend, add or remove any part of this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. You should review this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that you are up to date with any such amendments, additions, or removals. Purebaby also reserves the right to make any changes to our implementation of the GDPR to reflect the standards of the GDPR legislation. Collection of personal information & data processing


Purebaby recognises the importance of protecting your Personal Data and is committed to treating any information that we obtain about you with as much care as possible and in a manner that is compliant with all applicable data protection legislation, including the EU GDPR. Text marketing and notifications and TCPA


By entering your phone number in the checkout of Purebaby and initializing a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text marketing messages will not exceed 30 a month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages.

You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests will not be accounted as a reasonable means of opting out. Message and data rates may apply.

Security of your information


Purebaby uses a number of security measures to protect the information you provide to us. We protect your personal information by:
  1. Restricting internal and external access to your personal information; and
  2. Maintaining our technology systems to prevent unauthorised computer access; and
  3. Ensuring that third parties that require access to your information, including organisations outside Australia, take such steps as are reasonable to ensure that they do not breach our privacy obligations; and
  4. Securely destroying your personal information when your personal information is no longer needed.

Overseas transfers of your information


Our business is based in Australia.

We may need to share some of the information that we collect about you with organisations both inside and outside Australia.For example, we send information to the Meta and Google that are based in the US. In some cases, we may need to ask you before we do this.

We might also store your information in cloud storage or some other form of networked storage. This storage may be accessible from various countries via the internet, which means it is not always practicable to determine the countries in which your information might be stored or accessed. If this occurs, then this might mean that your information is disclosed in countries other than those listed above.


How long we will keep your information

GDPR text marketing terms and conditions


Purebaby are using a text messaging platform, which is subject to the following terms and conditions. By opting-in for our text marketing and notifications in, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Our compliance


Purebaby complies with the GDPR protection directives set out by the EU and UK regarding the collection, use and retention of Personal Data from EU member countries and the UK. All Personal Data stored on our platform is treated as confidential. It is stored securely and is only accessed by authorised personnel. Our collection is limited in relation to what is necessary, for the purpose for which the Personal Data is processed and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purpose for which the Personal Data was collected. We implement and maintain appropriate technical, security and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorised or unlawful processing or use, and against accidental loss, destruction, damage, theft or disclosure. Applicable law and jurisdiction
