The Purebaby Christmas Collection features a range of beautiful pieces including dresses, t-shirts, growsuits, rompers and sets. This new collection is perfect for both babies and toddlers, and for matching outfits between younger and older siblings.

Typically in Australia, Christmas Day is often quite warm as it falls within our summer months. Our Christmas Collection has been designed with this in mind - to keep your little ones comfortable and cool, whilst still feeling special for the occasion.

Baby Christmas Outfits

Whether you have a newborn or a baby that is crawling or walking, our Christmas collection has a range of styles to suit each of their needs. For easy dressing and ease of movement, our short-leg growsuits with sweet Christmas appliques are a great choice. Made from 100% organic cotton, they are soft and breathable on sensitive skin.

Rompers are a beautiful choice for all-in-one comfort, perfect to wear on their own or they can be layered with basic tees or bodysuits for extra coverage. Pair this with a matching sun hat to complete the look and provide added protection from the Australian sun. Our rompers are great for something a little more dressy when the family is around, while still being breathable on your little one’s skin.

Toddler Christmas Outfits

Our Christmas Collection also features key styles for older children, such as summer dresses, t-shirts and shorts. All are suitable for your little ones to stay cool and comfortable for all-day play with siblings, cousins and friends.

Pair any of our festive tees with shorts and a sun hat for a complete Christmas outfit for a toddler on the move. Toddler dresses and rompers can be paired with a headband or hat to complete their special outfit.

It’s also worth considering having a few different outfits ready to go for your toddler. Not only is Christmas an exciting time for them, but accidents may happen when they start enjoying the Christmas feast, or when playing with cousins or siblings. We recommend having a backup festive outfit or a change of clothes ready to go just in case the first set gets dirty.

How to Dress Baby on Christmas Day?

Whether it’s their first Christmas, second or more, it’s always a joy celebrating this special day with them. Here are a few ideas on how to dress your little one on Christmas Day:

  • Christmas Eve: While what they wear to bed is dependent on the temperature, a Christmas baby singlet or growsuit, is the perfect way to get them into the festive spirit.
  • Christmas morning: After a (hopefully) restful night’s sleep, a quick change into a comfy Christmas outfit such as a pair of themed leggings and a t-shirt will make the morning run smoothly.
  • Christmas lunch and dinner: With guests arriving soon, it’s time to change baby into their Christmas Day outfit. A Christmas dress, shirt, chinos, t-shirt or romper will make them a cute addition to the festivities, while a growsuit or onesie might be a more practical option for busy parents.
  • Christmas night: By now, everyone should well and truly have full bellies and tired eyes. Much like for yourself, it’s time to change your little one into some comfy clothes to snooze the night away in. Dress them according to their nursery’s temperature, but a growsuit or singlet is likely all they’ll need if it’s a warm night.

Baby Christmas Dressing Tips

Christmas Day can be an extremely busy day, in particular, if you are the host or have to travel big distances to reach family or friends. Here are some of the Purebaby team’s top tips to make dressing your baby a breeze on Christmas Day.

  1. Plan their outfit ahead of time: Try to have an idea of what you want them to wear before Christmas Eve. This will make getting them dressed far less stressful the next morning.
  2. Consider the weather: Even though Christmas tends to be warm, it’s best to look at the forecast ahead of time so you know exactly how to dress them, or if a cool summer storm is going to roll through halfway through the event.
  3. Have spare clothes ready to go: Like their main Christmas outfit, have the spares ready to go at a moment's notice. If you’re heading out of home for a Christmas event, don’t forget to pack it in your nappy bag.

During the holidays, we cherish the moments with friends and family. Discover the Purebaby Christmas Collection for that perfect outfit this festive season.
